Resolve this gap on the Forest route
Salmon is assigned to Forest Island and Beginner Lure, using the Fishing Rod. It is not part of the Standard Lure pairing used for the next main island’s ordinary fish.
Before leaving the Forest checklist behind, compare Salmon with Cod, Perch and Triggerfish. All four belong to the Beginner setup, so several missing entries can be reviewed together.
Place the fourteen-coin base in context
Salmon’s recorded raw base is 14 coins: 4 above Cod and 4 below Perch or Triggerfish. It is also 2 above Pike, which has an additional default-pool route.
The comparison helps explain why similar-looking shopping runs can yield different totals. It does not establish that Salmon is more common or quicker to catch than those alternatives.
