Route coverage: the documented Patch 1.0.10 progression baseline. Follow the objective and item names shown in your game; these notes do not claim a new playtest of the current patch.
Prepare through the Scientist’s request
The military objective belongs to the final whale sequence. Start with the Scientist’s five-fish order, use the Fish Bucket for Bowhead Whale and preserve its body for the mutated encounter. Do not budget for an additional military-specific boss lure.
Check the crew before the final trigger
- First whale body is intact and under control.
- Weapons and ammunition are ready for another fight.
- Food is available without searching through sale cargo.
- Everyone knows to keep the final trophy for the ending hand-in.
Check both completion states
Defeating the mutated whale addresses the combat objective. Finishing the game also requires the post-fight delivery and transport sequence. The historical player route identifies the Scientist as the ending contact; follow the active dialogue if the character label differs in your build.
