Is How to Fish coming to PS5, Xbox or Switch?
In its October 12, 2026 development update, Dazed Games confirmed that console ports, a larger content update and bug fixes are planned for the coming months. The announcement names no console model and gives no release date. PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch therefore remain individually unconfirmed as of October 13, 2026.
The developer FAQ separately confirms Mac plans without a date. The current Steam listing still identifies Windows as the native release. Neither statement establishes console-to-PC cross-play.
Can I play How to Fish on mobile, Android or iPhone?
The developer website links to the Steam game and does not list a native Android APK or iOS release in our October 13, 2026 review. Patch 1.0.11 announced GeForce NOW support, which provides a cloud route on compatible devices. Check NVIDIA's Android and iPhone requirements for device, connection and controller requirements before using it on a phone.
Does How to Fish work on Steam Deck? Are saves synced?
Yes: Dazed Games announced full Steam Deck verification in Patch 1.0.11 on September 1, 2026. That announcement also added GeForce NOW support.
Patch 1.0.12 on September 4 added Steam Cloud saves. The developer says to launch and exit the game once on the PC holding your existing save so it uploads to the cloud. Use our Steam Cloud save-transfer and sync guide before switching devices or resolving a conflict.
How many players can play How to Fish together?
The game supports single-player and online co-op. Although the Steam description still says one to four players, Patch 1.0.4 added lobbies for up to eight players. Patch 1.0.5 added private, invite-only lobbies and an in-game session-type setting that requires a restart after changing.

What did the Islet update add?
Version 1.1.0, released September 28, expands the world with small islands, more creatures, a mini-boss, a weapon, bait, an NPC and new achievements. Island spacing changed too, so an older five-island route map should not be treated as an exact map of the current world.
Start with the Islet update guide if you are returning after the launch version. Steam now lists 31 achievements; the achievement checklist includes the expanded set. The latest versioned official announcement is Patch 1.1.3.
