Entity facts retain the guide’s Patch 1.0.10 snapshot (2026-08-28); the newly written notes are not a current-build playtest. Fixed values are raw bases, not guaranteed sale offers. Patch 1.1.3 adds bait display after a first kill in Fishipedia; use your current game to check a returning catch.
Follow the island record, not the name
Stonefish is assigned to Volcano Island in the reviewed data and uses Scientific Lure with the Fishing Rod. Its name is not a reason to search the Rocks Island Professional pool.
If you are revisiting the final main island for collection, check Stonefish alongside the other regular Scientific entries rather than switching to a boss lure.
Equal value, independent collection entry
Stonefish and Anglerfish each have a recorded raw base of 1,500 coins. They must still be checked as separate species in the collection.
Oarfish is 50 coins below that base and Superdwarf Fish 200 above it. None of these value differences establishes a current health or damage statistic for Stonefish.
