Plan the Grillmaster visit before the catch
Locate the Grillmaster and read the request before buying the lure. The reviewed dedicated encounter uses a Standard Boss Lure, recorded at 280 coins. Use the displayed vendor price if your installed build differs.
Blue Shark is a separate optional encounter from Pufferfish. The shark body helps with cooking; it does not replace the Carrot trigger or the fin that opens Rocks Island.
Leave money for the fight, not only the lure
Budget ammunition and healing alongside the lure purchase. Keep the delivery route to the Grillmaster in mind and leave room to handle the body afterward. In co-op, mark this catch as a hand-in so it is not accidentally sold.
- Check that your weapon has enough ammunition for more than a few shots.
- Choose space where the target can be kept in view.
- Reserve the body until the grill objective is complete.
Track movement without turning it into a chase
Use repeated aimed attacks while keeping a path to retreat. If close pursuit makes it hard to track the target, back off to a position where its movement is easier to read.
Heal before you are forced into a desperate final attack. This advice is deliberately independent of a particular firearm or exact damage total, which has not been retested for the latest patch.
Deliver first, evaluate sale value later
Take the defeated body to the Grillmaster and finish the conversation to start the grill route. Its usefulness as the first cooking hand-in can matter more than its immediate sale price.
After cooking is available, use the cooking guide to distinguish a cooked catch from a burnt one. Do not assume every cooking outcome has the same value or objective credit.
